State Police Apprehend Two Local Men Wanted on Warrants

SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police have apprehended two local men who were wanted on warrants.

Criminal Case Against Jayme Deitz

On Monday, October 30, Clarion-based State Police apprehended 47-year-old Jayme Allen Deitz, of Callensburg, on a parole violation.

He is currently lodged in the Clarion County Jail.

Deitz was on probation stemming from an April 28, 2017 criminal case wherein state police found 40-year-old Jamey L. Fait, of McKeesport, hiding out at Deitz’s apartment on Main Street in Callensurg. Fait fled from authorities during a Monroe Township hotel drug bust on April 27, 2017.

On July 19, 2017, Deitz entered a guilty plea in front of President Judge James G. Arner on the following charges:

– Use/Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor
– Flight To Avoid Apprehension/Trial/Punishment, Misdemeanor 2

Misdemeanor charges of Marijuana-Small Amount Personal Use and Hinder Apprehension/Prosecution-Harbor Or Conceal were dismissed as a result of the plea agreement.

On July 19, Judge Arner ordered Deitz to abide by the following conditions:

– Deitz may petition for early release on parole if he is assessed for admission to an appropriate Veterans Administration program and is eligible for the program, and the petition shall be filed when it becomes known that a bed is available. The defendant shall be released on parole directly to the V.A. program;
– Pay the cost of prosecution and cost of supervision fee;
– Not consume any alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs;
– Submit to a drug and alcohol evaluation and follow through with any recommended treatment program; and
– Perform 25 hours of community service.

No other information is available at this time.

Criminal Cases Against Levi Zacherl

Court documents indicate 21-year-old Levi W. Zacherl, of Emlenton, was apprehended on Monday, October 30, and lodged in the Clarion County Jail.

He faces a bench hearing at 10:00 a.m. on November 2 in front of President Judge James G. Arner.

The cases against Deitz and Zacherl are not related.
