SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — Enjoy your Saturday at Deer Creek Winery with a wine tasting workshop and live music throughout the day!

Today’s activities at Deer Creek Winery:

12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Wine Tasting Workshop — register here.

The workshop is only $15.00 and a wine glass is included. There are three, one-hour sessions. Choose to come at 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m., or 2:00 p.m.

In this workshop, Deer Creek’s knowledgeable staff member, Joi, will be teaching you the basics of how to get the most from your wine, while having fun doing it. Wine and food pairings are also included. Reservations are appreciated.

2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Music by 2B40

2B40 is a band of 40 somethings. Their music is a combination of original songs and some of their favorite cover tunes.

7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Music by Byson Band

Both musical events are free.

Browse Deer Creek’s gift shop and sample their vinegars and oils, while listening to live music in a country atmosphere.

Deer Creek also serves hand-rolled crust gourmet pizzas, a variety of Goot Essa cheese plates with home-made toasted baguettes, and bruschetta with a twist — along with new menu items.

Free wine tasting is available all day, every day. Wine is sold cold by the glass or by the bottle.

Craft beer from North Country Brewery, soft drinks, coffee, smoothies, and lattes are also available.
