CLARION, Pa. — The Clarion Area Chamber of Business & Industry has announced its upcoming 2017 holiday celebrations.

The chamber invites the community to celebrate the 2017 holiday season with Customer Appreciation Day, held on Monday, November 20. That evening, join the chamber for the Annual Christmas Parade at 6:30 p.m.
Shop Small on American Express Small Business on Saturday, November 25, in downtown Clarion. Free parking will be available for Clarion shoppers on November 20, 24, and November 27 to December 26.
Don’t forget to drop off your letters to Santa in the big mailbox located at Clarion Area Chamber office located at 650 Main Street in Clarion.
Customer Appreciation Day:
Start off the holiday shopping season with Customer Appreciation Day on Monday, November 20, 2017. Businesses in downtown Clarion will be offering special sales and promotions for their customers throughout the day. Many of these sales will be “one-day-only,” so you do not want to miss this opportunity to score great deals at your favorite local businesses! Christmas Parade:
Celebrate the holidays with us at the annual Christmas Parade! Line up for the parade will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Northwest Savings Bank parking lot with the parade stepping off at 6:30 p.m. The parade will head down Main Street, ending at 5th Avenue. All parade entries are welcome. The categories of entries include marching bands, musical/instrumental groups, color guard, novelty/specialty groups, drill teams, non-profit service organization or groups, equestrian and/or animal groups, Scout troops, floats, VIP’s, dignitaries, celebrities and gymnastic groups. Free Stockings for First 100 Local Children
Stop by the Chamber Office on Monday, November 20, beginning at 4:30 p.m. to pick up free stockings for the first 100 local children, filled with goodies compliments of the Clarion Area Chamber of Business & Industry and the Clarion Area Business Community.
Then before and after the parade, stop by several other businesses to pick up even more goodies they will have for the local children. The list of participating locations will be included with the stockings.
Immediately following the parade, join the Clarion Area Chamber Office from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for a chance to get a photo with Santa Claus!
American Express Small Business Saturday:
Saturday, November 25, 2017, promises to be a day filled with excitement as the Clarion community celebrates the American Express Small Business Saturday with great sales and two awesome chances to win.
“Shop small” this holiday season by supporting your local businesses and merchants on Small Business Saturday. Customers will find great deals and special promotions at various Clarion area businesses. Stop by the Clarion Area Chamber Main Street between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. for a special giveaway for Clarion shoppers. Play Plinko for your chance to win coupons to save money while shopping at your favorite local stores.
