State Police Calls: Act 64, Clarion Township Hit and Run

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Act 64 in Porter Township

According to state police, an Act 64 violation occurred around 1:30 p.m. on October 12 on Olean Trail, in New Bethlehem, Porter Township.

Trooper Sommers, of PSP Clarion, was dispatched to a crash along Olean Trail. Upon his arrival, he viewed a grinder containing partial residue of marijuana in the front driver’s seat.

At this time, 20-year-old Nikki Shreckengost is being charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, according to police.

Hit and Run in Clarion Township

Police say around 4:55 p.m. on November 9, 25-year-old Lauren M. Conrad, of Punxsutawney, was traveling westbound in the left lane in a 2008 Mercury Mariner behind an unidentified truck.

The truck had a piece of rubber tread fall off from the rear of it, and the Mercury struck the truck tire. This was the initial impact, according to police.

The truck continued traveling west.

The SUV pulled off the side of the roadway. This was the final rest of the SUV.

Conrad was using a seat belt and was not injured.
