Forest County veterans were recognized for their dedication to the country.

The ceremony began with the presentation of colors by Boy Scout Troop 82, under the direction of Army veteran and scoutmaster Rick Witherell. Elementary students performed God Bless the USA and You’re a Grand Old Flag.

High School students offered an overview of the role veterans have played in American history and presented those present with a certificate of appreciation for their service.
