NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. (EYT) — The manhunt continues for a man accused of murdering a police officer during a traffic stop on Friday night.

According to a published article on pittsburgh.cbslocal.com, the mother of a man believed to have shot and killed a New Kensington Police officer on Friday night says he wants to turn himself in. She told police that she does not know her son’s whereabouts, however.

The Pennsylvania State Police are searching for 29-year-old Rahmael Sal Holt (pictured above), who is accused of shooting and killing New Kensington Police Officer Brian Shaw.
