70-Year-Old Man Accused of Assaulting Knox Man with Cane

FOREST CO., Pa. (EYT) — Marienville-based State Police say an alleged assault occurred last week at a residence in Howe Township, Forest County.

Following an investigation, the following charges were filed on Monday, November 20, in District Court # 37-4-03 against 70-year-old Sandal Edward Badger, of Sheffield:

– Simple Assault, Misdemeanor 2
– Harassment — Subject Other to Physical Contact, Summary

According to police, the charges stem from an altercation that occurred around 5:37 p.m. on November 13, at a residence along Watson Farm Road, in Howe Township.

Police say Badger allegedly struck a known, 22-year-old Knox man in the back, causing an injury.

Court documents indicate that Badger is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
