Kathryn L. “Katy” Campbell

Kathryn L. “Katy” Campbell, 86, of Titusville, passed away Friday morning November 24, 2017 at Hamot Medical Center in Erie.

Katy was born on April 11, 1931 at Pittsville, Venango County, PA, a daughter of the late Clarence Henry and Genevieve Mae Hart Hetzler. She was married to Jerold “Jerry” Campbell on January 8, 1977 at Emlenton.

She was a graduate of the Emlenton High School, class of 1949 and a graduate of the Olive Branch Mission Training School of Chicago, Illinois, class of 1955.

She had been employed at Joy Manufacturing in Franklin for 35 years until her retirement.

Katy was interested in missions and other church work. She led mission teams to Haiti, Dominican Republic, and Venezuela. She and her husband also did short term mission work in the Philippines.

She enjoyed traveling with her husband to other countries for vacations.

She is survived by her husband Jerry of Titusville; two step-sons, James W. Campbell and wife Marilyn of O’Fallen, IL and Charles W. Campbell and wife Susan of Dentin, TX; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a brother, Glenn B. Hetzler of Polk.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert B. Hetzler and John C. Hetzler; a sister, Judy Borland; and a step-daughter, Ardis Evins.

Friends may call at the Titusville Free Methodist Church 42490 State Hwy 27 Titusville, PA on Tuesday, November 28th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at which time the funeral service will be conducted with Rev. Timothy Maybray officiating.

Interment will be in Rockland Cemetery.
