Thumbnail-46“Steeler Nation” lost one of it’s biggest fans when Loree Davis, 76, of Franklin, passed away at 4:02 a.m. on Saturday, November 25th, 2017 at UPMC Northwest in Seneca.

Born February 14, 1941 in Franklin, Loree was the daughter of the late Wesley N. and Bessie Huff Lowrie.

Loree was a graduate of Rocky Grove High School. She worked as a Data Entry Clerk for the Entegra & Exchange Bank, and retired from Sheetz. She enjoyed playing “Texas Hold ‘Em” at the Moose Club, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Edward “Ned” Wilson, and his wife, Kimberly, of Franklin. She is also survived by her four grandchildren: Kevin Wilson, Jeremy Wilson and his wife, Beth, Justin Wilson and his wife, Victoria, and Nathan Wilson, all of Franklin; and her seven great-grandchildren: Isabella Wilson, Riley Wilson, Ayla Wilson, Zina Wilson, Aria Wilson, Eric Wilson, and Gavin Wilson. Loree is additionally survived by her sister, Carol Griggs, and her husband, Thomas, of Hanoverton, OH.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry “Tank” Wilson; her second husband, Neil Davis; and her sister, Doris Cauvel.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Franklin V.F.W. on December 3rd from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A brief “Celebration of Life” Service will be held around 3:00 p.m.
