State Police Calls: Theft, DUI

CLARION/FOREST CO., Pa. (EYT) — Marienville-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Traffic Stop — DUI in Jenks Township

A traffic stop on State Route 66 at Gilfoyle Road in Jenks Township, Forest County, resulted in a DUI incident.

Around 4:44 p.m. on November 26, PSP Marienville initiated a traffic stop on a silver 2008 Jeep Commander and discovered the driver — a known, 69-year-old male — to be under the influence of alcohol.

The investigation is closed.

The name of the driver was not released.

Burglary/Theft in Washington Township

Police say on November 24, an unknown perpetrator(s) removed several bags of empty aluminum cans from a locked shed at a residence on Siegel Road, in Washington Township.

The victim is a 68-year-old Lucinda woman.
