Helen L. Prenatt, 83, of 1161 Grandview Rd. Oil City, PA. , died at 6:52 P.M. on Friday Dec. 1, 2017, after an extended illness.
Born Jan. 26, 1934 in Oil City, PA., she was the daughter of the late Ira W. Ehrhart & Evelyn Greenawalt Ehrhart.
Helen was a graduate of Oil City High School.
On June 25, 1952, she married James E. Prenatt and he survives.
Helen was employed many years at Riverside and Thorne’s.
She was a member of the First Free Methodist Church in Oil City.
Mrs. Prenatt enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Rebecca Perry & her husband Dennis of Oil City, Vickie Morris & her husband Robert of Oil City, and Tim Prenatt & his wife Susan of Pleasantville; 7 grandchildren, Heather McCandless & her husband Jevon, Sara Zerger & her husband Zach, Erin Liederbach & her husband Harry, Ryan Antrilli & her husband Matt, Tim Prenatt II, Aaron Prenatt, and Chad Prenatt; and several great grandchildren.
She is also survived by two brothers, Ira W. Ehrhart Jr. of Oil City and Richard Ehrhart of Oil City.
She was preceded in death by a son James E. Prenatt II and by a sister Betty Jane Firestone.
Friends will be received from 4-6 P.M. Monday in the Reinsel Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 P.M. in the funeral homw with Pastor Ed Shreffler, Presiding.
Interment will be in Shaw Farm Cemetery.
