Saundra Joanne Schrecengost, 75, of Shippenville, passed away in Winnemucca, Nevada, where she had been staying with her sister for the past 4 years, on November 12, 2017 after a lengthy illness.

She was born on January 5, 1943 in Clarion, the daughter of the late Arnold and Helen McCall Schrecengost.

Saundra worked at the Marienville Glass plant for over 20 years, when the plant closed she went to work at Khale’s Kitchen in Leeper where she retired.

She is of the Catholic faith.

Saundra enjoyed woodworking, crocheting and crafting.

She is survived by her sister Marsha Hales of Winnemucca, NV, a brother Terry Schrecengost and Donna Reed of Shippenville and several nieces and nephews.

Saundra is preceded in death by her parents, a brother and sister in law, John and Angie Schrecengost, and a sister in law Charleen Schrecengost.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 9, 2017 at 10am in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Clarion with the Rev. Monty Sayers pastor presiding.

Interment will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.
