State Police Calls: Public Drunkenness, Underage Drinking, Water Cooler Stolen

state_policeCLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) – Clarion-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Man Arrested for Public Drunkenness

Police said they arrested Robert Lee Evans, 52, of New Bethlehem, at 6:30 a.m., Saturday, December 2, for public drunkenness after they found him pulled off to the side of the road near the intersection of Switzer Road and Route 861 in Madison Township with the headlights of his car still on.

Evans was found to be under the influence of alcohol and on probation in Clarion County.

He was placed in the Clarion County Jail.

Five Cited for Underage Drinking

Police pulled over a vehicle at 1:11 a.m. on Sunday, December 3, and found six people under the influence of alcohol, but the driver was not.

They were cited for underage drinking.

Water Cooling System Stolen

Police report someone stole a Culligan water cooling system and five-gallon jugs from a residence belonging to A 26-year-old woman located on Tyler Drive, Corsica, in Union Township, sometime between noon and 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29.

The items were valued at $400.00.
