This recognition award is for persons who contribute outstanding service to the association and its members.

A certificate was presented by Nancy Keen, CCPASR President, at their fall membership meeting. A listing of each year’s honorees will be framed and displayed at the PASR headquarters building in the John J. Dillon Hall of Fame.

When Linda McCloskey retired in 2008, the organization held two general membership meetings each year. Her suggestion of adding social luncheons each month has been a positive addition to the group’s activities. She started the monthly email reminders of gatherings. Linda served as substitute secretary which led to two years as the chapter secretary and she continued to organize the social luncheons. Linda also serves, along with her husband Tim, as co-chairs of the Region 8 Members Benefits and Services Committee.

CCPASR encourages retirees from other counties to join our chapter for a variety of outings, field trips, presentations, newsletters, and new friendships.
