Dennis N. Horner, 69, of Oil City, died peacefully, December 10, 2017, at UPMC Northwest in Seneca, PA.

Born May 28, 1948, in Oil City, he was a son of the late Richard A. and Lois A. Beightol Horner.

Mr. Horner attended Oil City High School until he was drafted into the US Army in 1967.

He worked at Cubbon Lumber Cowoodcutterwood cutter and in the mill.

Surviving is a very special friend, Faye Marsh; four sons, Shawn Horner and Eric Horner both of Oil City, and Stephen Horner and James Lemke both of North Carolina.

Also surviving is a brother, Larry R. Horner of Mississippi, and a sister, Myrna M. “Sis” Horner of Oil City.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Marie Horner.

There will be no visitation or services.

Interment will be in Plumer Cemetery.
