Tractor Trailer Rolls Down Steep Embankment Along Interstate 80

BEAVER TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Emergency crews responded to a tractor-trailer rollover crash Thursday afternoon on Interstate 80 eastbound in Beaver Township, Clarion County.

The accident happened around 1:26 p.m. when a tractor trailer exited the roadway and rolled down an embankment near Exit 53.

Knox Volunteer Fire Department, Knox Ambulance, and Clarion-based State Police responded to the scene.

Crews from Bauer Truck Repair of Shippenville and Hovis Truck Services of Emlenton worked together to pull the wreckage up a steep embankment and remove the tractor trailer from the scene.

The scene was cleared around 5:30 p.m.
