SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — A 22-year-old man is facing charges after a domestic dispute in Shippenville Borough.
On December 9 around 9:30 a.m., Bruin Abe-Emerick was allegedly involved in an argument with a known female during which he allegedly grabbed her, hit her head off of a door and then the floor, according to a criminal complaint filed by Clarion-based State Police Tpr. Ryan Wilson.
Abe-Emerick then allegedly shoved her down a set of stairs, causing a lump on the woman’s head as well as bruises and scrapes on her neck, arms, and knees.
The following charges were filed against Abe-Emerick on December 11:
- Simple Assault
- Harassment — Subject Other to Physical Contact
Abe-Emerick faces a preliminary hearing on January 2 at 8:30 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Timothy P. Schill.
He remains lodged in the Clarion County Jail on $10,000 cash bail.
