Aaron Thomas Dodds, age 23, of 444 Venango Avenue, Cambridge Springs passed away unexpectedly at home on December 19, 2017. Aaron was born in Meadville on February 10, 1994, a son of Russell E. Dodds and Theresa Blakeslee Dodds Goldsmith.

Dodds, Aaron He graduated with the class of 2012 from Cambridge High School and attended Crawford County Vo-Tech studying tool and die. In his junior year he finished his NIMS testing, the first to do so. He completed his co-op at Edinboro Industries and was currently working for Skywalker Tree Service of Edinboro.

Aaron was a man of deep faith who lost an extended battle with depression which prevented him from experiencing and understanding how much he was loved by his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Lorraine Dodds; and his maternal grandparents, John and Joyce Blakeslee. He is survived by his mother, Theresa Goldsmith of Cambridge Springs; his father, Russell (Rusty) Dodds and his wife, Darla, of Franklin; his sister, Michaela Dodds of San Antonio, TX.

Friends may call at the Van Matre Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs on Friday, Dec. 22, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and are invited to a funeral service there at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 23, with the Reverend Rod Beardsley officiating. Interment will take place at LeBoeuf Cemetery.
