MONROE TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police responded to a Saturday morning traffic accident in Monroe Township.
Police said William J. Vanderbilt, 21, was driving a 2015 Toyota Corolla south on State Route 68 at 6 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle.
The vehicle struck a mailbox before colliding with an embankment and a tree.
Vanderbilt, who wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, escaped injured.
Police were assisted at the scene by the Clarion Fire & Hose Company No. 1 and Mark’s Auto.
