Vehicle Crashes into Tree Off Route 66; Passenger Injured

JENKS TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State police say a one-vehicle crash occurred on Monday afternoon on State Route 66, in Jenks Township, Forest County.

According to Marienville-based State Police, around 2:07 p.m. on Monday, January 8, 39-year-old Dennis M. Henretta, of Akron, Ohio, was traveling south on Route 66. His 2006 Jeep Liberty left the roadway on the east side and struck a tree.

Mr. Henretta was not injured.

A passenger in his vehicle — 31-year-old Nancy R. Henretta, of Marienville — suffered suspected minor injuries.

Both occupants were using seat belts.

Mr. Henretta was charged with a traffic violation.

Clarion Hospital Ambulance assisted at the scene.
