STRATTANVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — The Clarion-Limestone High School will be performing Disney’s High School Musical March 15 to March 17.
The musical — presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International — is based on the popular movie that was released in 2006.
The show follows a week in the life of Troy Bolton, the star athlete at a small-town high school, who falls for nerdy beauty Gabriella Montez at a holiday karaoke party. When they return to campus, Troy and Gabriella audition for the upcoming school musical. Meanwhile, the jealous Sharpay Evans conspires to squelch their chances of being cast. The two must struggle to make it to auditions while also meeting their existing obligations to the basketball team and the academic decathlon.
With a cast of over 30, a student pit, and all sets and props created by the high school art club and shop classes, this school-wide event will be taking place March 15 to March 17 at 7:00 p.m. in the C-L high school auditorium.
Advanced tickets will go on sale in February.
Tickets may also be purchased at the door the evening of the performance.
All tickets will be $5.00.
