Vehicle Crashes into Snowbank off Route 66 in Paint Township

PAINT TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say a one-vehicle crash occurred on Sunday morning on State Route 66, in Paint Township, Clarion County.

According to police, around 9:46 a.m. on January 14, a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country was traveling south on Route 66 on the southbound lane of travel. At this time, the driver — whose name was not released — lost control of the vehicle; it exited the roadway on the southbound shoulder and traveled into a snowbank located west of the roadway. The vehicle came to a final rest facing south in the snowbank.

The car sustained non-disabling damage.

The driver was uninjured.

The driver was charged with a traffic violation.
