Traffic Stop Leads to Drug-Related DUI Investigation in Forest County

FOREST CO., Pa (EYT) — One person was taken into custody on drug-related DUI charges following a traffic stop on Sunday evening in Green Township, Forest County.

Marienville-based State Police said a yellow Chevrolet Cavalier was stopped along Newmansville Road at 5:58 p.m.

During the traffic stop, a known Tionesta man was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance.

The known man was transported for chemical testing at Clarion Hospital.

His name was not released.

The investigation is ongoing.
