McCullough PhotoJack A. McCullough, 51, of Tionesta, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 19, 2018, at Allegheny General Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was born on December 30, 1966, in Brookville, the son of the late Dennis McCullough and Carol (Yates) Johnson. He graduated from Clarion-Limestone High School in 1986.

He was of the Protestant faith. Jack was in the trucking profession for several years. He was employed by Larkin Trucking and Transport and several other companies.

His interests included fishing and sprint car racing. He was a member of the Fryburg Sportsman’s Club and the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame.

Jack is survived by his life-long companion, Ellen Holt, of Tionesta; his step-father, Robert Johnson, of Parker; two sisters, Jill Carroll, of Leesburg, VA, and Kristin Johnson, of Hanover, PA; and his maternal grandmother, Shirley Barnes, Parker.

He is also survived by a favorite aunt and uncle, Karen and Tim Larkin, of Emlenton; a nephew, Steven Bishop, of Camp Hill, PA; and several cousins.

Jack was preceded in death by his loving mother, Carol Johnson; his father Dennis McCullough; a brother, Jamie McCullough; his maternal grandfather Jack Yates; and paternal grandparents Bill and Mary McCullough.

Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street in Clarion where friends and family will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Jonathan Bell, pastor of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church officiating.
