Emlenton Man Charged with Megan’s Law Violation

SCRUBGRASS TWP., Pa. (EYT) — An Emlenton man on the PA Megan’s Law Public Registry has been charged with a violation.

According to court records, on February 1, Franklin-based State Police filed criminal charges against 67-year-old James Melville Haskin, of Emlenton.

He faces a third-degree felony charge of Verify Address or Photographed as Required.

Haskin is awaiting a preliminary hearing in Magisterial District Judge Patrick E. Lowrey’s office.

According to the Megan’s Law website, Haskin was convicted of Sexual Assault of a Child on January 29, 1993.

His registration began on March 28, 2011.

It was last updated on July 5, 2017.
