Hit-and-Run Reported in Paint Township

PAINT TWP. Pa. (EYT) — A vehicle fled the scene after striking a minivan parked along Meyers Road in Paint Township on Tuesday morning.

Clarion-based State Police said the accident happened around 10:02 a.m. when an unknown vehicle traveling on Meyers Road struck a 2005 Ford Freestar owned by 29-year-old Lana B. Bell of Shippenville.

The unknown vehicle struck the left rear portion of Bell’s minivan and continued traveling on Meyers Road without stopping at the accident scene.

Bell’s vehicle, which was parked illegally on the right side of the roadway at the time of the accident, sustained minor damage.

No injuries were reported.
