CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — The Democratic Party of Clarion County is hosting a nomination petition signing for Democratic candidates planning to run in the May 15 primary election on Saturday, February 17.
The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Ballroom of the Park Inn by Radisson, 45 Holiday Inn Road, in Clarion.
A light breakfast will be served, and there is no cost to attend.
RSVP’s are not required but are appreciated (email info@clarioncountydems.com).
The Democratic Party has invited all eligible candidates to attend.
Nomination petitions will be available for candidates including:
U.S. Senate: Bob Casey
U.S. House of Representatives, 3rd District: Robert Multari, *Chris Rieger, and *Brian Skibo
U.S. House of Representatives, 5th District: *Marc Friedenberg, *Wade Jodun, *Kerith Strano Taylor
Governor: Tom Wolf
Lieutenant Governor: Mike Stack, *Aryanna Berringer, *Kathi Cozzone, Madeleine Dean, *John Fetterman, *Craig Lehman
Candidates attending the petition signing will be on hand to answer questions and speak with guests. All candidates noted with an asterisk (*) have been confirmed to be in attendance at the event.
Area residents are also reminded that the deadline to register to vote for the May 15 Primary is April 16. You can register to vote and find other voter resources at www.votespa.com.
