CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – The Clarion Chamber of Commerce and Rick Capozzi of Survival Mindset is hosting an active shooter seminar on Wednesday, April 4, at the Clarion Mall.

It will be held in the space next to the movie theatre (formerly “The Simple Things” space).

The seminar will run from 8:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

Lunch and a Concealed Carry Segment will be held from noon to 2:00 p.m.

The hands-on seminar will better equip individuals, “whether you are a “sheepdog” who is prepared to defend yourself and others, or are someone who wants to have a better understanding of how to get yourself and others to safety if you hear shots fired.”

The program will cover the following:

– Review strategies recommended by Homeland Security;
– Move from condition white to condition yellow;
– Discuss the numerous response considerations and how to choose the most appropriate option for your scenario;
– Participate in a building walk-through, discussing response options by area;
– Run multiple drills in a controlled environment that will build muscle memory; and
– Develop a survival mindset.

The cost is $50.00 for the morning session and this includes breakfast or $60.00 for both sessions, which includes breakfast and lunch.

There is a $10.00 discount for those who register by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21.

Visit pfaai-clarionpa.eventbrite.com to register.
