Kerle, Eric CroppedEric “Duff” B. Kerle, 47, of Lucinda passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 17, 2018.

Born on February 14, 1971, in Clarion, he was the son of Joseph and Dorothy Siegel Kerle.

Duff was a 1989 graduate of North Clarion High School and he also had a degree from National Hardwood Lumber Association in TN.

On August 18, 2001, he was married to the former Leigh Rimer Kerle and she survives.

Duff attended Ashland United Methodist Church in Cranberry.

He worked for Tesco Corporation based out of Indiana. Duff was an avid fisherman and enjoyed participating in Fishing Tournaments, many of which he won. He also enjoyed hunting and spending time in the outdoors. He could often be found on the soccer field watching his son Jacob play and he also enjoyed spending time with his family.

Duff is survived by his wife Leigh and their son Jacob. Also surviving are father-in-law John Rimer and his wife Nancy of Summerville, and his mother-in-law Laurie Park of Fort Myers, FL; brothers-in-law Paul Rimer and his wife Wendy of Brookville, and Kurt Miller and his wife Shilo of Corsica. Siblings surviving include: Tammy Chamber and her husband Steve of Cranberry, Brian Kerle and his wife Laurie of Shippenville, Chris Kerle and his wife Barb of Shippenville, Amy Schwabenbauer and her husband Steve of Tylersburg, Bruce Kerle and his wife Robin of Lucinda, Betsy Ochs and her husband Brad of Lucinda, and Troy (Chip) Kerle and his wife Amy of Shippenville. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no public visitation and interment will be in the St. Michael Cemetery. Faller Funeral Home, Inc. of Fryburg will be caring for the family.

Memorials in Duff’s honor may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
