One Taken to Hospital After Crash on I-80 Involving Three Tractor-Trailers

EMLENTON, Pa. (EYT) — One person was taken to the hospital on Friday morning after a crash involving three tractor-trailers on Interstate-80 near Emlenton.

According to a Venango County 911 representative, the accident occurred near mile marker 45 in the westbound lanes around 11:50 a.m.

The Emlenton Volunteer Fire Company and Ambulance Service responded to the scene, as well as Clarion-based State Police.

It is believed one person was taken to Grove City Hospital.

The extent of injuries is unknown.

The road was closed but has since opened.
