Case details:

According to a criminal complaint, on November 28, 2017, Officer Berggren was assigned to investigate an incident of rape that occurred between Ernest Junior Adams and a known 16-year-old victim.

During an interview with the known victim on January 15, she stated that she had been choked by Adams and was forced to perform a sexual act on him and was forced to have sexual intercourse with him while he was a guest at her residence.
On February 14, Adams allegedly admitted to grabbing the victim’s hair and forcing her to perform a sexual act on him. In addition, he allegedly pushed the victim on a bed, removed the victim’s shorts, placed his hands around the victim’s throat, and forcefully had sexual intercourse with the victim, according to the complaint.

Adams allegedly admitted it occurred two separate times.

He also “admitted to the victim being fearful during the encounter,” the complaint states.

Adams was arraigned at 1:53 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, in Judge Schill’s office.
