One-Car Crash on Route 66

JENKS TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State police say a one-car accident occurred on Saturday morning on State Route 66, in Jenks Township, Forest County.

According to Marienville-based State Police, around 8:34 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, a 2013 Nissan Sentra was traveling north on State Route 899 and failed to stop at a properly posted stop sign.

The car traveled through the intersection of Routes 899 and 66 and then across Route 66 and entered a wooded area.

The car was towed out of the wooded area and was able to be driven away from the scene.

The driver was charged with a traffic violation.

The name of the driver was not released.
