State Police Calls: Suspected Theft, Harassment, DUI
Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle in Tionesta
Around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, a known 43-year-old female victim in Tionesta Township reported to PSP Marienville that her vehicle had been stolen. Upon further investigation, it was determined that a known 21-year-old male had used the vehicle and that he had done so without prior authorization. The victim requested no prosecution.
Harassment in Tionesta
Around 10:20 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, PSP Marienville investigated a verbal dispute between a known 18-year-old female and a known 21-year-old male in Tionesta Borough. Neither party desired to press charges. No charges are pending.
DUI in Farmington Township
Around 1:44 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, a known 43-year-old male, of Hermitage, PA, was observed swerving into the path of Trooper Smith near the intersection of Route 66 and Haggerty Drive in Farmington Township. Trooper Smith proceeded to initiate a traffic stop on the vehicle. Field sobriety tests were performed on the individual, and he was then transported to Clarion Hospital ER for a legal blood draw. DUI charges are pending.
