SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. (D9Sports) — Karns City’s Emily Hegedus and North Clarion’s Tori Obenrader finished one-two in District 9 in girls’ basketball scoring this season.

Hegedus averaged a District 9-leading 25.7 points per game, while Obenrader added 24.1 ppg.

Three additional KSAC players finished in the Top 10 in the district in scoring with Keystone’s Taylor Geer finishing fifth (20.2 ppg), A-C Valley’s Ellie Thompson tied for seventh (19.5 ppg) and Cranberry’s Malliah Schreck ninth (18.5 ppg).
