SCRUBGRASS TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State police say a two-vehicle accident occurred on Saturday morning on Emlenton Clintonville Road, in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County.

According to Franklin-based State Police, around 8:06 a.m. on Saturday, March 17, a 1999 Toyota Camry, driven by 49-year-old Kristy E. Hindman and a 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser, driven by 75-year-old Beverly M. Seeker, both of Emlenton, were traveling east on Emlenton Clintonville Road.

The Toyota hit the Chrysler in the rear-end and pushed it forward causing it lose control, cross the center lane of travel, and leave the roadway where it came to a rest.

The Toyota overturned after hitting the Chrysler; it rolled approximately 80 feet where it came to a final rest facing a southern direction on its roof.

Hindman and Seeker were using seat belts and were not injured.

Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were removed from the scene by Hovis Towing.

Emlenton Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene with traffic control.
