Additional Charges Filed Against Clarion Man Busted for Selling Heroin, ‘Molly’

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – Additional charges have been filed against a Clarion man accused of selling heroin and “molly.”

According to court documents, CNET (Clarion County Narcotics Enforcement Team) filed additional criminal charges against 25-year-old Anthony Christopher Jacob, 25, of Clarion.

Criminal complaints filed on Thursday, March 15, and Friday, March 16, indicate that the following drug transactions occurred:

Offense Date: February 11, 2018

CNET made a controlled purchase of heroin and “molly” (a drug commonly known as ecstasy) from Anthony Jacob using a C.I. (Confidential Informant).

The C.I. purchased a bundle of heroin for $130.00 and one gram of “molly” for $120.00.

The drug transaction was conducted in Clarion Borough.

A C.I. had been communicating with Anthony Jacob via text messages, and Jacob said he was in New York City. A transaction with the C.I. was set up to purchase four “8 balls” of cocaine (one-half ounce) for $1,300.00.

Jacob made it clear in the text messages that he needed to know if the C.I. had the money or he would not catch the bus. The C.I. confirmed with Jacob that he/she had the money, and Jacob stated he would catch the bus in New York City and be in Clarion at 11:00 p.m.

CNET did a background check on Jacob and obtained a copy of an active bench warrant for Jacob’s arrest in Clarion County for failure to appear to common pleas court.

Around 11:20 p.m., CNET with the assistance of PSP Troop C Vice Unit, set up observation of the bus drop off point at the BP station in Monroe Township off of State Route 68. The bus arrived and the troopers observed Jacob exit the bus and stand in front of the BP store.
