Wanted Pittsburgh Man Apprehended in Clarion County

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) — A man wanted in Allegheny County was taken into custody on Wednesday night in Clarion County.

As of Thursday morning, 23-year-old Richard Andrew Edmonds, of Pittsburgh, remained lodged in the Clarion County Jail.

Court documents indicate that Edmonds is awaiting a preliminary hearing in Allegheny County on the following charges:

– Fleeing Or Attempting To Elude Police Officer, Felony 3
– Driving While Operating Privilege Is Suspended, Summary
– Driving On Roadways Laned For Traffic, Summary
– Driving Vehicle At Safe Speed, Summary
– Careless Driving, Summary
– Reckless Driving, Summary

Charges were filed by the Kittanning-based State Police on Monday, March 12, in Magisterial District Judge Carolyn S. Bengel’s office in Brackenridge.

Calls were made to Clarion-based State Police and the Clarion County Jail; however, no additional information was available.
