Man Crashes Car into Pond in Hawthorn

HAWTHORN, Pa. (EYT) — Police say a Marienville man crashed his car into a pond in Hawthorn last week.

According to police, around 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 26-year-old Thomas Lipchey-Holcomb, of Marienville, was operating a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu, traveling on Brookville Street just east of Cedar Street, when the vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a pond.

Lipchey-Holcomb was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.

He was cited for a traffic violation.

No further details were released.
