CLARION TWP., Pa. (EYT) — An Oil City man is facing additional criminal charges after allegedly trespassing on Clarion University property for a third time.

Court documents indicate the Clarion University Police Department filed criminal charges against 23-year-old Adam B. Rhoades, of Oil City.

According to a criminal complaint, on Tuesday, March 20, around 9:04 p.m., Patrolman Mohney responded to a Clarion University apartment building in Clarion Township for a reported trespass complaint. Rhoades was located inside the bedroom of a known female. He stated that he was aware of his active “No Trespass Order” from Clarion University Judicial Affairs.

Rhoades was evicted from Clarion University property and informed that additional trespassing charges would be filed.

On Monday, March 26, one count of defiant trespass on school grounds was filed in Magisterial District Judge Duane L. Quinn’s office.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. on Monday, April 9, with Judge Quinn presiding.

Rhoades was previously charged with two counts of defiant trespass after incidents in late February.
