Crews Respond to Minor Kitchen Fire at Shippenville Dairy Queen

SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — Emergency crews responded to the scene of a small fire late Tuesday morning at Dairy Queen along U.S. Route 322 in Shippenville.

Shippenville-Elk Township Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched around 10:58 a.m. for a report of a grease fire in the restaurant’s kitchen.

Shippenville-Elk Fire Chief Jeremy Hallberg told exploreClarion.com that the fire started in the griddle area of the kitchen and was extinguished around 11:10 a.m.

The scene was cleared around 11:50 a.m.

No injuries were reported.

Shippenville Ambulance and Clarion-based State Police were also dispatched.
