Evelyn C. Blauser

Evelyn C. Blauser, 92, formerly of Reno, died peacefully on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at the Bradford Ecumenical Home in Bradford, PA.

Born January 27, 1926, in Rew, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Mae Knight Amsler.



Evelyn was a homemaker and enjoyed baking. She worked several years in a delicatessen and bakery in Bradford. She also enjoyed singing in the church choir and singing solos. She loved spending time with her family. 

She attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Oil City.



On July 5, 1968, she was married to the late Willard R. Blauser, who preceded her in death on January 5, 2007.



She is survived by two sons, William R. Walb, Jr. and wife Marlene of Bradford and Gary D. Walb and wife Barbara of Manchester, and step-son Theryn Blauser and wife Donna of Fitchburg, MA; five grandchildren and three step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. 

Also surviving are two sisters, Pauline Greenawalt and husband Glenn of Renfrew and Thelma Sheehan of Jasper, GA, and numerous nieces and nephews.



Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to noon this Saturday, April 7, at the Morrison Funeral Home, where funeral services will follow at noon with the Rev. William Hopkins officiating.

 Interment will be in Fertigs Cemetery.



The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Oil City Church of the Nazarene.
