C-L Band Association’s Annual Vendor Fair and Artisan Show Slated for April 21

STRATTANVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-Limestone Band Association will be hosting their annual Vendor Fair and Artisan Show on Saturday, April 21.

The event is from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Clarion-Limestone High School.

This is the organization’s main fundraiser for the music department.

Currently, the music department is in the middle of a successful festival season within the Pennsylvania Music Educator’s Association. The chorus department, led by Mrs. Tina Bennett, and the instrumental department, led by Ms. Jennifer Coast, offered the following performance opportunities to students this year in addition to regularly scheduled concerts and marching band events:

– Adjudication Honors Band, October 21, 2017, at Clarion Area High School.
– PITT Band Daym October 28, 2017, at Heinz Field.
– Autumn Symphonic Winds, November 4, 2017, at A-C Valley High School.
– CCMEA County Band, November 16th, 2017 at A-C Valley High School.
– PMEA District 3 Band, January 11-13, 2018, at Armstrong High School (five students).
– PMEA District 3 Chorus, January 25-27, 2018, at DuBois High School (eight students).
– Mercyhurst Tri-State Honors Band, January 25-27, 2018, at Mercyhurst University (four students).
– PMEA District 2, 3 & 5 Orchestra. February 8-10, 2018, at Beaver Area High School (four students).
– PMEA Region II Band, February 22-24, 2018, at West Shamokin High School (two students).
– PMEA Region II Chorus, March 1-3, 2018, at McDowell High School (four students).
– PMEA District 3 Jazz Band, March 9-10, 2018, at United High School (four students).
– PMEA Festival Adjudication, March 20, 2018, at Clarion Area High School (33 students).
– PMEA Western Region Orchestra, March 22-24, 2018, at Sharon High School (one student).
– PMEA All-State Wind Ensemble, April 17-21, 2018, in Lancaster, PA (one student).
