Dorothy Lois (Kerr) Turnbull, 90, of Upper Saint Clair, formerly of Bethel Park, Buffalo, NY, and Oil City, PA, died on Thursday, April 5, 2018.
Beloved wife of the late Richard C.; mother of the Reverend Lola J. of Sligo, PA, and William C. (Maria) of Colorado Spring, CO; grandmother of Daniel (Kyrie) Turnbull and Alyssa (Garrett) Denys; daughter of the late William G. and Lois S. Kerr; sister of the late Thomas Kerr and late Virginia Kerr Perry; also survived by one brother-in-law, three sisters-in-law, and by nieces and nephews.
She was one of 22 “Kerr grandkids”, of which five remain.
Dorothy was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority.
Her remains have been donated for research through Humanity Gifts Registry.
At her request, memorials may be given to the “Employee Appreciation Fund” of Friendship Village (1290 Boyce Rd., Pgh. 15241), or to the “General Fund” or “Pastor’s Fund” of Christ United Methodist Church (44 Highland Rd., Bethel Park 15102).
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 8, 2018, in the Saint Clair Room of Friendship Village.
