Braunagel Poster Takes First in Wildlife Society Conference

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — Dr. Kurt Regester, Clarion professor of biology, and nine undergraduate biology majors attended the state-level annual conference of The Wildlife Society March 23 and 24 in State College.

Taylor Braunagel of Milford won first place for her poster on “Skeletochronology of the Eastern Hellbender: Age Structure and Management Implications for Pennsylvania’s State Amphibian.

Lisa McKenzie of Hermitage and Christina Hoffman of Greencastle also presented posters.

Other students who attended are Cori Eckman of Warren, Tony Kumetis of Reynoldsville, Katelyn Sallack of Punxsutawney, Jon Vannatten of New Castle, Brady Karg of Leeper, and Evan Papst of Coraopolis.
