State Police Calls: Tionesta Woman Falls Victim to Fraud

FOREST CO., Pa. (EYT) — Area State Police responded to the following calls:

Theft by Fraud in Tionesta

Marienville-based State Police are investigating an access device fraud incident that occurred between March 22, 2018, and April 2, 2018. It was reported that a 52-year-old Tionesta woman discovered approximately $1400.00 of fraudulent online purchases on her VISA debit card.

This investigation is on-going.

Criminal Mischief in Jenks Township

According to police, sometime between 6:30 p.m. on Friday, April 6, and 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, an unknown person or persons drove their vehicle on a 70-year-old Marienville man’s property and caused damage to the turf.

The investigation continues.
