State Police Calls: DUI, Theft, Interference with Custody, Semi Crash

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) – Clarion-based State Police responded to the following calls:

DUI in Monroe Township

According to police, around 10:17 p.m. on Friday, March 30, a known, 33-year-old Seneca woman was stopped for a variety of traffic violations.

During the traffic stop, it was discovered that the woman was intoxicated, and she was taken into custody for DUI.

Charges were filed with Magisterial District Judge Timothy P. Schill.

Theft in Paint Township

Clarion-based State Police are investigating a theft that occurred sometime between 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 25, and 7:13 p.m. on Friday, March 30, at a business on Greencrest Drive/Paint Boulevard in Paint Township.

The suspect is a known, 54-year-old Venus woman.

Interference with Custody of Children in Emlenton

Police are investigating a report of Interference with Custody of Children that occurred around 10:09 p.m. on Sunday, April 1, at a location on Route 208 in Emlenton.

The victim is a known female juvenile.

Minor Semi Collision on I-80

According to police, around 2:34 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, a crash occurred in an interstate construction zone merge point where the right lane was closed and traffic was to merge into the left lane.

A 2007 Kenworth was traveling east in the left eastbound lane of I-80 near the 35.2 mile marker and was struck in the right mirror by a 2014 Kenworth as it was attempting to pass at the merge point. Both vehicles continued traveling to a location near the eastbound I-80 weigh station where both stopped and exchanged information.

The 2007 Kenworth sustained damage to the right mirror. The 2014 Kenworth sustained no damage.

No injuries were reported.

No citations were issued to the operators involved.
