State Police Seeking Information on Over 20 Burglaries in President Township

PRESIDENT TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say several campers were burglarized last week in President Township, Venango County.

According to police, an unknown perpetrator(s) entered approximately 21 separate campers at 1400 Stewart Road (Kibbe’s Island Campground), in President Township.

Several of the campers were damaged as the perpetrator(s) gained access; damages included smashing windows out, cutting screens, and damaging doors. While inside the campers, the perpetrators(s) ransacked the campers.

It is unknown at this time what items were stolen because several of the camper owners were not present, according to police.

Police say it is known that a BB gun and liquor were taken.

The incidents occurred sometime between April 5 and April 13.

The investigation is continuing.

Anyone with the information on the identity of the perpetrators(s) is asked to call PSP Franklin at 814-676-6596.
