Aloha Fryburg: Hawaiian Dance Group to Perform at Mayfest

FRYBURG, Pa. (EYT) – Hawaiian dancers will say “aloha” to the Fryburg’s annual Mayfest celebration for the first time ever this year.

Tuika’s Polynesian Island Magic is the latest addition to the lineup for Fryburg’s 26th annual Mayfest celebration set for Friday, May 25 and Saturday, May 26.

Dancers from Tuika’s Polynesian Island Magic will give a performance fitting for an authentic luau at the St. Michael’s Church from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday evening.

Tuika’s Polynesian Island Magic is a multi-dimensional production of Polynesian and Asian-American entertainment that offers unforgettable performances, filled with beautiful costumes and authentic songs and dances of the islands.

According to the group’s website, “the audience will enjoy sweet island music. Then it’s time to sit back, relax, and watch talented native dancers perform from the graceful hula to the fast moving hips of Tahiti.”

Organizers expect the show to be a big hit and an excellent addition to the many popular attractions that visitors return for year after year.

Mayfest 2018 will kick off on Friday, May 25, with the Kami Dinger 5k Fun Run and the Dick Kapp Memorial Cornhole Tournament. It will conclude on Saturday with a parade, car show, fireworks, and much more.
