Jefferson County Man Killed in Early Morning Crash

BRADY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Police say a motor vehicle accident claimed the life of a Falls Creek man early Thursday morning.

According to DuBois-based State Police, around 6:05 a.m. on Thursday, April 19, Lloyd Douglas Minns, 60, of Falls Creek, was traveling east on Helvetia Road in Brady Township, Clearfield County.

Police say Minns’ vehicle crossed over the center line and then left the roadway before it collided head-on with a tree.

Minns succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clearfield County Coroner’s office.

Brady Township Volunteer Fire Department/EMS, DuSan Ambulance, and Jewells Towing also assisted at the scene.
