Teen Involved in Rollover Crash on Route 68

TOBY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say a one-vehicle crash occurred on Tuesday evening on State Route 68 at the Toby Township, Clarion County.

According to police, around 5:44 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, a 17-year-old Rimersburg male was traveling in a 2001 Dodge Dakota north on Route 68 in the area of the Toby Township, Piney Township line.

The vehicle failed to maintain its lane and struck a guardrail on the east side of the roadway. The vehicle continued in a north direction, then overturned and slid on its roof for approximately 60 yards before coming to final rest in the southbound lane.

No injuries were reported.

The teen was using a seat belt.

He was issued a traffic violation.

Sligo Fire Rescue and Pollock Towing assisted at the scene.
